About Tax Planning Tools

Richard Scherzinger

Hi, I'm Richard Scherzinger — the person behind Tax Planning Tools. I built this to help people plan ahead on taxes instead of getting surprised every April.

I'm not a CPA or a financial advisor, and nothing here is professional advice. I'm just someone who got tired of calculators hidden behind email forms, so I built free ones that show their work. If a calculator here ever gives you a wrong number, email me and I'll fix it.

Why this site exists

Tax Planning Tools is a small collection of free, no-nonsense tax planning calculators. Most tax-planning tools either cost money or hide behind sign-up forms, so I wanted free ones that just answer the question. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser, shows the math behind the result, and never asks for your email or personal details.

What I believe

Free means free. No accounts, no email gates, no "enter your details to see results." The site is funded by advertising, not by selling your information.

Show the math. Every calculator displays how it reached its result, so you can check it against your own numbers.

What this is not

I'm not a financial advisor, accountant, or agent, and nothing here is professional advice. These calculators apply public formulas to the numbers you enter and can't account for your full situation. For decisions that matter, please talk to a qualified professional.

How the site is funded

Tax Planning Tools is funded entirely through advertising (Google AdSense). Every calculator is free, and I don't sell user data or accept sponsored placements.
